Ok, so I have been taking perfct care of mine and it's still only 4 inches tall (well i did propigate it but it hasn't grown since!) Is everyone else's still so tiny!?! Does any one else know any thing to do to make it grow??!!
the info sheet says something about wanting the "biggest, bushiest coleus" so i'm thinking you want it not so much tall as rounded.
as for growing, mine had a growth spurt when i was in maine; i watered it before i left and put it on a shelf near a window, but not where it would be in full sun the whole time, and it seemed to do well.
have yet to propagate anything but maybe i'll do that now.
I propogated mine today and was wondering if I did it right i cut off one leaf and most of its stem and put it into a small pot of potting mix. does that sound good?
i went by what allison posted, she said something about putting the cuttings in water. i took two stems from near the bottom, in case i screw it up, and put them in a vase. although putting it in soil sounds like it would make the plants put roots down faster than just water...see how this goes for a few days though.
I'm measuring in centimeters. Mine is pathetic. It's only nine centimeters tall. Anyone have any suggestions?
